TENNIS COURT RESERVATION INFORMATION

Tennis courts may be reserved at two locations: Ocean Park(located on Barnard Way,
one 1/2 block south of Ocean Park Blvd. tel: 310-399-4891) & Reed Park(7th
St. & Wilshire Blvd. tel: 310-394-6011). The basic recreational use fee is
$2.00 per hour per person.

If you're a Santa Monica resident you can buy a Reservation Card for $5.00
per year(effective July 1st through June 30th). Applicants must present IN
PERSON proof of Santa Monica residency. This proof must include a PHOTO ID
and CURRENT UTILITY BILL or BANK STATEMENT). Courts may be reserved for
use by the Card Holder Only.

Courts not used by the card holder making the reservation will be given to
the first person on the waiting list. Card Holder who made the reservation
and does not use court will be assessed a $3 No Show fee regardless of
whether court is subsequently rented. Staff may request to see card at
check in time. The reservation card is not transferable.

You can also purchase a RESIDENT QUARTERLY PASS which allows residents the
opportunity to play free of charge for up to two hours per day. Players
must have Reservation card to purchase a Quarterly Pass. Summer Pass(July
through September), Fall Pass(October through December), Winter Pass(January
through March), and Spring Pass(April through June).

Junior Pass(17 years of age and under) $12
Adult Pass(18 years of age to 61)
Senior Pass(62 years of age and above) $12

RESERVATION PROCEDURES

Reservation for play on MONDAY will be accepted from 5:15PM Fri thru Mon
Reservation for play on TUESDAY will be accepted from 5:15PM Sat thru Tues
Reservation for play on WEDNESDAY will be accepted from 5:15PM Sun thru Wed
Reservation for play on THURSDAY will be accepted from 5:15PM Mon thru Thurs
Reservation for play on FRIDAY will be accepted from 5:15PM Tues thru Fri
Reservation for play on SATURDAY will be accepted from 5:15PM Wed thru Sat
Reservation for play on SUNDAY will be accepted from 5:15PM Thurs thru Sun

Phone reservations cannot be made between the hours of 12:15pm and 12:45 PM,
5:15pm and 5:45pm.

In person registration cannot be made on Saturdays and Sundays 8:15-8:45AM,
Monday thru Thursday 6:15pm-6:45pm, and Fridays 5:15 to 5:45pm.

Non-Santa Monica Residents may make a reservation on the same day of play
only!

Courts must be claimed 5 minutes in advance of reserved time. Courts not
claimed will be give to the first person on the waiting list.

Court can be claimed only by the person who made the initial reservation.
This person must be present at check in time. The person who makes the
reservation is responsible for paying the total court time reserved(1 or 2
hour reservation at check in time for the entire party.

Please bring exact court fees because the staff does not have change.

If you wish to cancel a court reservation, you must call 310-394-6011 or
come in person to Reed Park no later than six hours before reservation time
or you will be assessed a $3 No Show Fee. You may not have another player
substitute for you on a reservation made with your card. If this occurs, the
court will not be given to a "substitute" player but will be give to first
player on the waiting list. You will still be assessed the $3 no show fee.

OTHER TENNIS COURT RULES AND REGULATIONS

-No hard soled or dark colored soled shoes are allowed on the courts.
-No more than six balls are allowed on the court.
-Any form of tennis instruction must receive prior approval. Call
